What is your return policy for paddles?
Customers have 30 calendar days from the original purchase date to request a return or exchange.
General conditions:
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Returns must be approved before sending items back.
Refund eligibility:
Within 7 days of delivery: Eligible for a full refund if the paddle is returned in as-new condition with original packaging.
After 7 days and up to 30 days: Returns may be approved at our discretion with a 20% restocking fee, provided the paddle is as-new or lightly used.
Automatically declined conditions:
- Removed, replaced, or altered grips
- Stained, worn, or odorous grips
- Scratched, cracked, dented, or heavily scuffed paddle faces
- Chipped, cracked, or separated edge guards
- Marks from floors, balls, dragging, or improper storage
- Damage from misuse, drops, or normal wear
- Any excessive or inconsistent wear
If a return is declined, the customer may have the item returned at their own shipping cost.
Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days of inspection.
This policy does not affect customer rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
What is your return policy for apparel and accessories?
Apparel and accessories (including bags) may be returned or exchanged within 10 days of delivery.
- Returns for apparel and accessories incur a 20% restocking fee.
- Items must be new, unused, unwashed, and in original packaging.
- Items showing wear or damage will be declined.
If declined, items may be returned to the customer at their own expense.
What does your paddle warranty cover?
All BASELINE Pickleball paddles include a 6-month limited warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship under normal, intended use.
All guarantees apply in addition to customer rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
What is not covered by the paddle warranty?
- Normal wear and tear (scratches, scuffs, fading logos, ball-fiber buildup)
- Damage from misuse, drops, clashes, or improper care
- Damage from heat, cold, moisture, or poor storage
- Modified, removed, stained, odorous, or heavily worn grips
- Commercial, rental, coaching, or institutional use
- Paddles showing signs of abuse, alteration, or intentional damage
Paddles must be used only for personal play and show no excessive or inconsistent wear.
What is your warranty on apparel and accessories?
Apparel and accessories (including bags, caps, and grips) are covered by a 3-month warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.
Not covered:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by misuse or improper washing
- Opened, installed, worn, or altered grips and accessories
How do I submit a warranty claim?
Email support@baselinepickleball.com with:
- Your full name and proof of purchase
- Clear photos of the defect
- A short description of when and how the issue occurred
If approved, we will repair, replace, or refund the product at our discretion. Claims are processed within 10 business days after inspection.
What are my rights under Australian Consumer Law?
All BASELINE products include guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL.
- You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure.
- You are entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
- You are entitled to repair or replacement if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure is not major.
